Punjab Government tweeted, “Punjab School Education Department to reopen portal for registration for State Level National Talent Search Examination (NTSE, Stage-1) from November 11 to November 15 in view of difficulties faced by students. Has decided. ”

According to a spokesperson of the Punjab School Education Department, students studying in 10th standard can appear in this examination. While SC, ST, and Physically Handicapped categories should have 55 percent marks, Class 9 in other categories should have 70 percent marks.
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will give around 2,000 scholarships to students who have passed the Stage-2 examination conducted by NCERT New Delhi.
“Students of class 9 and 12 will get Rs. 1250 per month as scholarship, while post-graduation and post-graduate students will be given Rs 2000 per month.
