Punjab will focus on identifying contacts after the rise in corona virus cases

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid told a meeting of the NCOC at the Special Care of Health Department in Lahore on Saturday that Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid told the NACCC meeting on Saturday that Punjab should identify the contact and Ready to increase the number of smart lockdowns.

Dr. Yasmeen Rashid briefed the participants on the objectives of capacity building of government sector hospitals, status of vaccinations, implementation of SOPs and smart lockdown. Federal Minister Asad Omar appreciated the efforts of the Punjab government to control the coronavirus epidemic.

The Health Minister said, “The Punjab government is using all its resources to control the epidemic. Treatment in government hospitals is gradually improving. SOPs are being implemented. Overall, we are on a daily basis.” About 27,000 people are being vaccinated, and corona virus testing ability is steadily improving.

“Our current focus is on measuring connectivity. Smart Lockdown is being implemented in cities with a positive reputation ratio. People are being regularly updated on the seriousness of the situation and the importance of SOPs. Oxygen supply to all hospitals is uninterrupted. More vaccines are being introduced in Punjab very soon. During the holy month of Ramadan, the process of vaccinating citizens against polio is being started in two shifts. The morale of line health workers is very high.
