JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Tuesday that the final year examinations of all degrees, engineering and polytechnic colleges will be held in July. These exams were postponed due to Kovid. Officers of the Department of Higher and Technical Education have been directed to ensure that all health protocols are followed during the examination.

Gehlot also pointed out that students from the first and second year or below the final year should be promoted to the next level on provisional basis. “Once the situation is back to normal, the examination should be conducted,” an official statement said. Masks and sanitizers are compulsory for both students and candidates during the exam. Also, social distinctions have to be followed during the entire process of examination.

State Technical Education Minister Subhash Garg informed that the number of examination centers can be increased to ensure that the social vision pattern is followed.

The state enrolls 4.29 lakh students in higher education institutions in 2020-21. The official statement did not say anything about the entry.
