Rawalpindi Police has set up a day care center for their children to facilitate female officers of the force.

In photos shared on the City Police’s Twitter handle, the daily care center appears to be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for children.

The tweet said, “Another initiative of CPO @ Ehsan PSP to ensure the welfare of the power as per the concept of IGP Punjab.”

The tweet said the establishment of the center would facilitate the female officer and “relieve her of the worries of her beloved young children while on duty”.

Meanwhile, City Police Officer, Rawalpindi, Muhammad Ahsan Younis, reacting to the tweet, said: “Alhamdulillah, Rawalpindi Police has fulfilled the vision of IGP Punjab.”

He added, “A state-of-the-art day care center is fully operational. For the protection and service of RwpPolice,” he added.

Furthermore, Amna Baig, a Rawalpindi police officer, said it was important to be gender sensitive in the workplace.

“I am happy to work in a department that caters to the needs of its lady officers,” he added.
