ISLAMABAD: The latest phase of the PTI-led government’s flagship Ehsan Kafalat program will help about 4.3 million poor women across Pakistan.
Dr. Sania Nishtar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Security, said that under the program, Rs. The source will be able to withdraw the money. .
According to the aides, payments under the Ehsan Kifalat program are being made in six provinces as well as in Gilgit-Baltistan as six-monthly installments for the period July-December.
The Assistant to the Prime Minister mentioned that receipts would now be issued to ensure transparency under the Ehsan Kifalat program. He advised the payers to bring their identity cards with them.
Dr. Nishtar highlighted that in light of the growing number of COVID-19 infections, community outreach and coronavirus precautions will be taken at payment centers.
