Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Friday urged school leaders to make strenuous efforts for effective implementation of the new National Education Policy (NEP).
He was addressing the 26th edition of the CBSE Annual Sahodaya Sammelan.
Pokhriyal said, “I urge the school leaders to strive hard for effective implementation of the new education policy, 2020, which is designed for the first time keeping in mind the views of the largest number of stakeholders.”
“It is the collective responsibility of every citizen to make India a self-reliant country and develop into a new India with immense potential. School leaders and teachers must work collaboratively to make this a reality.
The 26th National Annual Conference of Sahodaya School Complex organized by CBSE and organized by Bangalore Sahodaya School Complex Association started in virtual mode on Friday.
The Education Minister also released the CBSE Manual on Inclusive Education, Joyful Learning and Physical Education for classes 11 and 12 and the conference souvenir is titled SAMARTHAN which is a compilation of best learning practices in the country.
School Education Secretary Anita Karwal addressed the gathering on various aspects of the future of education in the country. He stressed the need for every teacher to face challenges and convert them into opportunities for the attainment of holistic education.
The virtual conference is being attended by more than 4000 people from schools in India and abroad.
CBSE Sahodaya School Campus is a group of affiliated neighborhood schools that voluntarily come together to share best practices and innovative strategies for school education and collaborate for curriculum design, evaluation, pedagogy and regular capacity building of teachers .
Currently, there are more than 200 active CBSE Sahodaya School clusters across the country.
Although the main theme of the conference is to “build efficiency in challenging times”, the sub-topic is the sub-construction of all blended learning environments on technology, building on and improving student strengths, coordinating weaknesses as opportunities for authentic and meaningful Will focus on Learning through the integration of art and a step towards intelligently inclusive-bridge construction.
