SEBI again extends deadline to apply for 147 senior level vacancies between Kovid-19

NEW DELHI: Market regulator SEBI has extended the deadline to apply for the post of 147 senior-level officials to July 31 for two months in the wake of the coronovirus epidemic.
On 7 March, the regulator invited applications for these positions as part of its plan to headcount for faster and more effective execution of its jobs. The last date to apply for the posts was 23 March.
The last date to apply for the posts was later extended to 30 April and then to 31 May.
Now, it has been extended till 31 July, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) said in a recent notice.
The regulator stated, “Due to the currently ongoing COVID-19 status, postpone Phase 1 and Phase 11 exams for the recruitment of officers in Grade A (General, Legal, Information Technology, Engineering, Research and Official Language streams). Has been given. ”
It will be notified at the revised time.
The Phase I and Phase II examinations were scheduled on 4 July and 3 August respectively.
A total of 147 vacancies for Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) were notified by the markets watchdog, as well as to appoint IT specialists, researchers, and other officers for general administration.
Applications were invited for 80 posts of Assistant Manager for General Stream, 34 posts for Research Stream and 22 vacant posts of Department of Information Technology.
In addition, it invited applications for engineering and official language streams.
To apply for the general stream, the incumbent is required to have a master’s degree in any discipline or a bachelor’s degree in law or engineering.
SEBI is reducing several compliance requirements for listed companies in the wake of the coronovirus epidemic, resulting in some restrictions being imposed.
