Sharad Pawar issues income tax notice on election affidavit. India news

Mumbai: NCP chief Sharad Pawar said on Tuesday that the Income Tax Department has given him notice regarding his election affidavits submitted to the Election Commission.
Pawar, while speaking to reporters here, said that the Income Tax Department has sought “clarification and clarification” on some of the election affidavits equipped with him.
“I got the information yesterday … We are happy that they (center) love us from amongst all the members … The notice was served by (Income Tax) after being asked by the Election Commission … We answer For information, ”he said.
He was replying to a question on reports that his daughter and Lok Sabha member Supriya Sule, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray had received similar notices from the Income Tax Department.
Pawar also highlighted the steps to impose President’s rule in Maharashtra.
“Is there any reason (for imposing President’s rule)? Is President’s rule a joke? He said, the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition has a clear majority in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.”
Pawar also criticized the central government for banning onion exports.
