Sindh Civil Secretariat closed to the public after 9 cases came to light

24 News HD TV channel reported on Monday that Sindh Civil Secretariat has been closed to the public after nine cases came to light.

Chief Secretary Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah has suspended all activities for the next few days, including private hearings of officers amid fears of COVId-129.

According to the TV channel, Mumtaz Ali Shah has isolated himself in his house.

Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah announced on Monday that he had tested positive for the coronavirus. In a series of tweets, the chief minister noticed that he had a mild fever on Friday, and decided to take the test after Friday prayers.

The Chief Minister said that he still has a mild fever but his overall condition is stable. He added that he had isolated himself on the advice of his doctors.
