Sindh Health Department seeks permission to appoint 958 nurses

The Health Department has sought permission from Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah for the appointment of 958 nurses in the hospitals of the province to deal with the situation related to coronavirus epidemics. This was reported by 24 News HD TV channel on Saturday. .

According to the TV channel, the Sindh Health Department has sent a summary to the Sindh Chief Minister for the deployment of 958 nurses. The health minister has linked the appointment of nurses with the approval of the Sindh cabinet.

The health department says the nurses will be deployed in areas where coronavirus cases are on the rise.

It may be recalled that the Sindh Health Department had canceled the notification of appointment of nurses two days ago on which the Health Minister had objected to the action of the Health Secretary. And after that, the Sindh Health Secretary reversed the decision and sent a summary to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

According to joint statistics from the National Command and Control Center (NCOC), the number of Code 19 cases in Sindh has risen to 180,904 and the city of Hyderabad has a positive ratio of 12.13%.
