RAWALPINDI: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday said that a Pakistan Army soldier was martyred and three others were injured in an exchange of fire with terrorists near Turbat.
According to ISPR, the terrorists patrolled the security forces and opened fire on the security forces, whose outpost is located 35 km southeast of Turbat.
“Lance Naik Wasimullah accepted martyrdom, while three soldiers were injured,” the ISPR added.
The Turbat incident came two days after terrorists attacked security forces on a coastal highway near Ormara.
The ISPR said that on Thursday, a large number of terrorists attacked a convoy of the Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL), killing 14 people, including seven FC personnel.
According to ISPR, the clash took place between security forces and terrorists near Ormara.
