The current version of the IPL is being played in the United Arab Emirates due to the epidemic situation in India. The IPL 2020, the 13th edition of the tournament was originally planned in India from March 29, but had to be postponed until September and eventually moved out of India and into the United Arab Emirates.
Ganguly said the UAE remains a declining option for the Indian board for the next season as well.
Teams like Chennai Super Kings, who are looking to change the core of their squad, are waiting for a full auction or mini before the next IPL. “We have not decided anything yet. Let this season end, we will make a call, ”said Ganguly.

“We have to change our core group a little bit and look at it for the next 10 years,” Dhoni said after the team’s final league game against Kings XI Punjab.
The BCCI decided on the auction. It has been a difficult year. “This is one of those seasons where most teams have played well,” Dhoni said.
Meanwhile, Ganguly also confirmed that the domestic season will start from next year.
