If Coronovirus hadn’t hit us, Sanjay Dutt-Ranbir Kapoor-Vani Kapoor starrer Shamshera would have been a theatrical hit about 10 days from now (it was slated for release on July 31). Set in the 1800s, ‘Shamshera’ is about a dacoit tribe who commanded the fight for their rights and freedom against the British. Ranbir (in a double role) will be seen in the titular role, while Dutt Pratipakshi and Vaani play the role of a dancer. Ronit Roy and Iravati Hershey are also playing important roles in the film.

Other films stalled in shoot / post-production due to coronovirus attack are Salman Khan’s Radhey, Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’, Varun Dhawan’s ‘Coolie No.1’ and Ajay Devgan’s ‘Maidan’.
