Students secure 25% of ICAR seats in TNU from TN

COIMBATORE: Students from various districts of Tamil Nadu have secured 30 seats and allotment in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), which has 25 percent of the total seat matrix.

AIEEAICAR (All India Entrance Examination Admission – Indian Council of Agriculture Research) has been released in the ICAR exam portal for the year 2020 and a total ICAR seat matrix of 120 students from different states has been allotted to TNAU.

ICAR is conducting AIEEA for Bachelor’s Admission- 2020 for B.Sc (Agri) and allied subjects and the State Agricultural Universities have reserved 15 per cent of the total seats for students seeking admission through AIEEA.

During this academic year, students in the domicile state secured 30 seats from various districts in Tamil Nadu and got an allotment in TNAU, which was 25 percent of the total seat matrix, a varity press release said on Monday.

TNAU Vice Chancellor Drs. N. Kuzmar appreciated those students from Tamil Nadu who chose TNAU and agriculture as their profession.
