The Supreme Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of petitions filed in the Justice Faiz Isa case till the middle of next month, 24 News News TV reported.

But last week, the Supreme Court issued a detailed ruling, passed by a 10-member bench, just months after delivering a brief verdict.
In light of the latest developments, the counsel for the petitioners on Wednesday asked the court to give them time to update their petitions and prepare arguments.
Subsequently, a seven-member bench headed by Justice Omar Ata Bandial accepted the petitions and adjourned the hearing till the week starting November 16.
Justice Bandial said the petitioners had asked for two weeks, adding that he wanted Justice Faisal Arab to hear the case before his retirement.
Meanwhile, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shehzad Akbar and Law Minister Fergo Naseem also reached the court for hearing.
