A Gallup Pakistan survey found that only 24% of Pakistanis believe that asymptomatic patients can spread COVID-19. Meanwhile, the majority, 63 thinks, cannot spread the virus to people without symptoms.
According to an article by Geo TVThe survey was conducted by Gallup Pakistan in association with Jang Geo News Polls, in which around one thousand people from all over Pakistan participated. Participants were asked about their views on COVID-19 and its spread.
The survey was conducted between December 24, 2020 and January 15, 2021.
When asked if anyone in their social circle was infected with COVID-19, 81% of respondents said no, while 19% said they knew someone who contracted the virus. Was In June 2020, 22% of respondents indicated that they knew someone with COVID-19.
On the other hand, when asked if they knew of any quad 19, the majority of respondents, 89%, said they did not know anyone who died of the disease. In contrast, 11 said they know someone who died after contracting the virus.
