The celebrations of Eid-ul-Fitr began with religious fervor and enthusiasm

According to 24 News HD TV channel, Muslims planned thousands of rallies and gatherings across Pakistan on Friday to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with great religious fervor.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the International Rehmat-ul-Ulameen Conference in Islamabad organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony in connection with Eid-ul-Fitr.

The inaugural session of the conference will be chaired by President Dr Arif Alvi while the closing session will be chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan. The government has also decided to celebrate Ishq Rasool (SAW) week from tomorrow (Saturday).

In their Eid Milad messages, President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan urged Muslim leaders to unanimously demand from the international community that they pay homage to the Holy Prophet. Ensure the sanctity of God and refrain from blasphemy and desecration.

President Alawi called on the Muslim world leaders to make a unanimous demand to ensure the sanctity of the International Solidarity Organization Khatam-un-Nabiyyin.

In his message to the nation, the President said that the reprehensible incidents of blasphemy in the West have invited the outrage of Muslims all over the world. “Such incidents have created divisions and trampled on the spirit of interfaith harmony and dialogue,” Dr Alvi said. He further said that in order to better deal with Islamophobia and to highlight the true spirit of Islam, it is necessary to disseminate the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and the true message of the Holy Qur’an.

The President congratulated the beloved homeland on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) who said that he had cleansed the society from ignorance and oppression.

He said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was sent as a mercy for all humanity and the real success of humanity lies in following his teachings.

The President saw that the teachings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) were not only indispensable for a better understanding of Islam but also a model for humanity.

He said that in the early Islamic history, the Quran and the personality of the Holy Prophet (SAW) were the only means to attract people to Islam.

He said that the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) taught people peace, brotherhood and mutual respect. Even during the wars, in addition to providing a basis for interfaith harmony, it imposed moral restrictions, ensuring the rights of slaves, women and the helpless.

Considering their importance, he said that all the followers have to play their role in promoting the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in addition to reflecting it in their lives.

The President prayed to Allah Almighty to prepare all the dear country for the development and prosperity of the country along with the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Citing the growing threat posed by the second wave of coronavirus in the country, the President advised the people to take anti-COIVD precautions to prevent the spread of the disease, especially during Milad processions.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) established the state of Madinah with justice, community and equality which is still a model for the whole world.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said, “To promote peace, tranquility and inter-religious harmony in the world, the teachings of the Prophet of Islam (SAW) should spread tolerance, patience and forbearance.”
