The Pakistan Army is involved in the National Polio and Tree Planting Campaign

Chief of Army Staff (COOS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday planted trees as part of a lush green Pakistan and attended a polio-free Pakistan event.

The Pakistan Army has planted 29 million trees since 2018 and 5 million trees are being planted this monsoon through the formation of the Pakistan Army as part of Sarsab O Shadab Pakistan.

FWO has planted an astonishing one million trees on its motorways over the next two and a half years as part of the “Green Motorways Initiative”.

The initiative includes 600,000 plants along Lahore-Islamabad Motorway (M-2), 180,000 plants along Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway (M-9), 120,000 plants along Lahore-Sialkot Motorway (M-11). And Swat includes planting and cultivating an amazing 100,000 plants. Motorway
