The Sindh government has appointed Shamim Mumtaz as the new chairperson of the Child Protection Authority

The Sindh government on Monday announced that it has appointed PPP’s Shamim Mumtaz as the new chairperson of the Sindh Child Protection Authority.

A formal notification was also issued in this regard.

According to the notification, the appointment of Shamim Mumtaz, who is also a member of the Provincial Assembly, has been approved by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

The notification further said that the appointment of Miss Shamim Mumtaz as Chairperson would be under the provisions of Sindh Child Protection Authority Act, 2011.
