Kohima: There will be a reduction in operations in the Dzukou Range of Nagaland on Sunday due to no active fire, but the situation will be monitored continuously, a forest official said.
On December 29 last year, a large area of ​​flora and fauna was damaged in a fire in the Dajukau range of Kohima district.
Rajkumar M, Kohima Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) said, “A low intensity smoke was observed during aerial surveillance, but it is far from the base camp.
He said that the situation is fully under control, but the scale down operation will continue.
The DFO said that eighty personnel and two Air Force helicopters are closely monitoring the situation.
Sources said the damage caused by the explosion could not be ascertained.
