Trump slogans Kovid expert Fauci and all these idiots

Washington: The suggestion of a highly respected and popular doctor was “silly”, after US President Donald Trump left top government scientist Anthony Fauci in a call with campaign staff on Monday.
Fauci, a key member of the White House Coronovirus Task Force, has increasingly focused on the president’s frustration as he bids to shape the message on the much-publicized federal response to the epidemic.
“People are tired of Kovid,” Trump told his campaign team in a call, at which several members of the press were present.
“People are saying, ‘Whatever – just leave us alone.” According to several US media outlets, the president said, “People are tired of hearing Fauci and all these idiots.”
The epidemic has killed approximately 220,000 people in the United States.
Trump complained to 79-year-old Fauci, “He has been here for over 500 years, recognized worldwide for directing the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in suburban Washington.”
“Fauci, if we listened to them, we would have 700,000 (or) 800,000 deaths,” Trump claimed on the call, saying it would be retaliatory to shoot him before the presidential election on November 3.
The president’s latest attack seemed to protect the doctor from Republican Senator Lamar Alexander.
“Dr. Fauci is one of our country’s most distinguished public servants. He has served 6 presidents, beginning with Ronald Reagan,” Alexander tweeted.
“If more Americans heeded his advice, we would have fewer cases of COVID-19, and it would be safer to go back to school and go out to work and eat.”
The trophy’s comment came a week after Fauni expressed his displeasure at the use of a clip of him in a Trump campaign video about the coronaires.
“In my nearly five decades of public service, I have not publicly endorsed any political candidate,” said the immunologist, with his statement in the video being taken out of context.
At various points during the epidemic response, Fauci has clarified or corrected Trump’s public comments on the development of Kovid-19 treatments and vaccines.
The tension between them sometimes gets tense, as in April when Trump retweeted a post that included the hashtag #FireFauci – before reassuring the American people that “Tony” was doing a pretty good job.
