UAE 10-Year Residency ‘Golden’ Visa Eligibility – World News Widens

The Dubai ruler said that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) approved the grant of a “golden” visa to some professionals, specific degree holders and others, allowing 10 years of residency.

In UAE, foreigners generally have renewable visas valid for a few years, tied to employment. Over the years, the government has made its visa policy more flexible by offering longer residencies for certain types of investors, students and professionals.

All holders of doctoral degrees, medical doctors and computer, electronics, programming, electrical, and biotechnology engineers are eligible, UAE vice-president and ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, said in a statement

In addition, special degrees in Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Epidemiology as well as high school students living in the UAE are eligible to top the nation and university students with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.8 or higher. Huh.

After first announcing a long-term visa scheme in 2018, in 2019 the United Arab Emirates began giving 5- and 10-year renewable visas to some foreign investors, entrepreneurs, CEOs, scientists and outstanding students.

Dubai, the Emirates of Trade and Tourism Center of the Middle East, said in September that it would provide renewable renewal to wealthy foreign travelers every five years.
