Use free time to increase curiosity about productive things: PM Modi tells students

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday advised the students to make use of the free time during studies during video conferencing on ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021’.

“There is a need to keep in mind what to do in free time, otherwise those things will be consumed all the time. In the end, you will be fed up instead of refreshed. You will start feeling tired.” Answering a question from a student about using free time during a coronovirus epidemic.

“Don’t consider free time empty. It’s a treasure, privilege and opportunity,” he said.

PM Modi told the students that “When you earn free time, you get to know its highest value. Therefore, your life should be such that when you earn free time, it will give you great happiness”.

The Prime Minister said, “In our spare time, we need to increase our curiosity about what other things we can do that will be a lot more useful.”

He advised teachers to talk students out of the syllabus, saying that instead of preventing students from anything, teachers should encourage them to make their best version.

PM Modi said, “Children are very intelligent. It is difficult to say that children will do what they do (teachers or parents).”
