Deepika Padukone, who has been an MIA both on social media and recently, was spotted for the first time for a while when she attended a Diwali celebration at the house of Gully Boy actor Siddhant Chaturvedi. The Chappak actor looked gorgeous as he made a mask-free appearance in a pear-white shara set outside Siddhanath’s residence in Mumbai. The ensemble was quite different from the commonly seen shararas, and this Hrithika Mirchandani number had a kurti with full sleeves and a peepalam flair, white sharps fitted in thighs and ran to the bottom. And this gorgeous pearl-white dress is priced at Rs 89,000. Deepika gave up the dupatta, and gave Kurti big shoulders and peplum style, it was a brilliant idea. Deepika wore minimal make-up as usual, a subtle smokey eye, highlighter skin and nude lips. She kept her hair in a low bun, wore diamond studs and cream-colored pumps to her ears to complete the look. And like most of her white attire, from saris and gowns to salwar kameezes and pantsuits, Deepika looked like a complete stunner heading for the Diwali bash. The Bajirao Mastani actor carried a creamy, white Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) clutch with gold detailing in his hand.
Deepika is also celebrating her second wedding anniversary with husband and actor Ranveer Singh, which is also Diwali. Ranveer, who never misses an opportunity to show how reconciled he is with Deepika, took to his Instagram to share unseen pictures of his wedding ceremony with the caption, “Souls interviewed forever.” Happy 2nd Anniversary My Guide @deepikapadukone
Like the rest of their wedding outfits, the couple were seen in photographs co-ordinated outfits. Both Ranveer and Deepika were seen in floral printed kurtas and churidars by Ekka Dukka Sahabasachi Mukherjee, Deepika was seen wearing a dupatta with her and Ranveer Nehru jackets.
