GWALIOR: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said on Saturday that he will allot portfolios to ministers on July 12.
“Allotment of departments is my duty. Today I am in Gwalior and will allocate tomorrow,” Chauhan told reporters at a press conference here.
CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan reached the Gwalior Smart City Command Center to assess the preparedness to deal with the Kovid-19 epidemic.
Chauhan said, “We have provided facilities for 35,000 beds in the state to deal with the Kovid-19 epidemic. We will arrange 83,000 more beds if needed. My primary concern is how to deal with the coronovirus epidemic. ” Added.
Twenty-eight ministers joining the Shivraj Singh Chauhan government in Madhya Pradesh were administered oath of office and secrecy by Governor Anandiben Patel at Raj Bhavan in Bhopal on 2 July.
Remarkably, this was the second cabinet expansion as Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan returned to the affairs of the state on 23 March. He had earlier inducted five ministers into the cabinet only in April.
