Sudiksha, a resident of village Derry Scanner in Dadri, Gautam Buddh Nagar, died in a road accident on 10 August in Bulandshahr district. Her family alleged that she was being harassed by two motorized men, leading to an accident and death.
Two people were eventually arrested over the case, even with Bulandshahr police denying harassment citing CCTV footage and eyewitnesses, and insisting that it was a case of “accident”.
An academically bright student, she was pursuing a graduate course in entrepreneurship at Babson College, Massachusetts, US, on a scholarship of Rs 3.80 crore and was scheduled to return on 20 August.
